A little bit about myself

My name is Angela Owen,
I have been a graphic designer sense 1994 when I
started as an apprentice for Grimes Incorporated where I designed slides for
college classes. I later worked for a graphics firm that created decals for
nascar as well as dabbling
in screen printing while in school. I went to college to earn an advertising
design degree where I learned everything from retouching to typography. After
college I worked for a short time as a designer for a local newspaper.
Later I was hired at a prepress firm called Furniture
City Color where I worked for over 3 years as a retoucher and color specialist.
I quit shortly after having my daughter to open my
own business through which I still did work for FCC as well as other clients
doing jobs that range from web and printed ad design to photographic retouching.
I first got involved in pageantry when I took my
daughter to our very 1st pageant in 2002. We
had a great experience which led me to get more involved online. That is where
I first got involved in retouching pageant pictures. Over the past few years
the pageant retouching side of my business has grown immensely due to the loyalty
of my wonderful customers. I very much enjoy what I do and hope I will always
be able to provide these services. I very much appreciate the loyalty and great
responses I receive from my customers and hope to hear from them more in the
future.
